Here’s another fabulous hand crafted large slot car track. This track comes with fold-able legs.

6ft x 4ft , 12mm MDF, 2×1″ frame, MDF framed and 5.5mm ply base.

The baseboards are glued and screwed. I mark out the course ensuring it has good flow. A guide fence is then positioned and nailed into place following the line of the course; this allows for the router to follow in a smooth manor. Once the groove has been cut out and cleaned, the MDF is primed before 2 top coats of paint are applied, followed by copper tape laying. The board is then framed and painted and the wiring connected along with a toggle switch to change direction creating 2 circuits for the price of 1.

This track is approximately 7 metres in length and comes complete with 2 cars, 2 transformers and throttles…..  oh and did I mention a toggle switch so you can drive in the opposite direction!😃
