Wilson’s Halt 6x6x2

Wilson’s Halt is a super compact layout. Client requested as much track as we could possibly and realistically install yet also give good operational running. Also had to be split era in as much as a modern TMD area and Heritage,all in a 6ft x 6ft x 2ft deep space.

DCC wired, Gaugemaster dcc01 controller, DCC Concepts point levers and motors. Lighting throughout, a few lit buffer stops and welding in the shed.

Constructed using 1/2 inch WBP Plywood and 4×1″ PSE timbers. All heavily glued and screwed and all built in house as all our layout baseboards are. Once the baseboard has been wrapped in a ply fascia, it is entirely painted [front back & sides] no bare wood is left unpainted.

Delivered to Derby in 2 sections, fitted tubular legs. Entire ply fascia painted in grey as per photo [ this is in your home so needs to look good]
