So have you ever wished for an exhibition style layout but have no idea where to start or work and family life prevent you from having enough time to build one? Look no further….I have an inquisitive nature, an eye for detail and use the best products on the market to create them. I understand that all layouts will be different to suit clients requirements, from just a working bare layout to a full scenic. I will work closely with you to make sure that your new layout fits your home and that it looks smart in your home

From extensions to houses, from rockeries to swimming pools, I’ve built the lot during my 33 years in construction! ,so I guess you could say building is in my blood, only now on a smaller scale, so you know your layout will be well built and built to last.

I build my own baseboards from 12mm WBP ply and planed PSE timber for framing ,all glued and screwed for strength and longevity . Steel alignment dowels are used on all board joins to prevent movement. Yes my baseboards are heavy, but built to Last. Finally Plywood edges/fascia are applied and painted to the clients colour choice. If a client requires legs to support their new model, then I suggest and supply tubular detachable legs for a clean and stylish look. The fascia wooden surround is always painted to a colour of your choice ,because after all, this is going into your home and you need it to look amazing, and it will. I will walk you through every step to ensure you receive your dream layout.

All points/turnouts, if electrofrog (preferably) are modified for reliability and not just taken straight from the packet. If using Seep motors , then frog juicers are also used, however, DCC Concepts slow motion motors are my No.1 choice and recommendation of motor.

Please note, all layouts shown have been sold and are commission only builds and changes can be made to any layout design, plus if you have your own design we can build that too. Costs do vary and the smallest of scenic layouts typically start @ around £2500. I can build you just the Baseboards should you wish to do the rest yourself, or Baseboards and track wired, or a complete scenic layout. There are various options available to you so please get in touch with your requirements and we’ll soon have your dream layout in your home.

Delivery or collection? You are most welcome to come and collect your new layout from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire or we can deliver and install for you. Assistance with lifting your end will be required.

Site visits ( if a call, email or photos can’t determine ) to advice on layout locations, access or structural building concerns can be carried out at cost of time and fuel.
